Organising sales planning, order dispatching and shipping

The research group Order Management provides companies with concepts and methods for efficient internal and external order processing. With the help of supportive system landscapes and the corresponding data, it helps companies to synchronise their business processes. Based on the Aachen PPS model, the group develops and implements innovative approaches for analysing and reengineering order processing processes (business process reengineering).

In this context, the group examines the optimal synergy between company application systems such as ERP/PPS or SCM systems and the underlying business processes. The group’s work supports companies in implementing a consistent order management from sales planning to order dispatching and shipping.
